We are NAMTRA media, an interactive services firm helping performance automotive companies position their brands, both online and in print, for success in the aftermarket industry. Since 1997, we have been providing creative solutions for our clients through website design and development, print advertising, and effective brand strategies.
Sounds like we know what we're doing? We do.
We are group of obsessive planners and strategists, eccentric creative weirdos and overly technical nerds, that when caged in an office 10 hours a day - produce absolutely stunning results. More importantly, like you, we are Gearheads and understand who your customers are and how to speak to them. We take tremendous pride in our work and pat ourselves on the back watching our clients succeed.
Online Marketing and Web Development is our life. Would you like to be a part of it?
In October of 2008 we were invited to visit local builder Randy Clark at his Escondido-based shop Hot Rods & Custom Stuff. As usual, we did a bit of research before our meeting and were blown away with what we found.
We often passed by their shop (and many others) on our way to-and-from Escondido, but never looked into the "who" or "what" behind the shop. As it turns out this seemingly normal shop on Auto Park Way, was just the tip of the iceberg.
The shop is actually divided into 3 separate buildings across two locations. With 40,000 square feet of shop space and 35 employees...this was not your average car building enterprise.
Randy gave us a shop tour and needless to say we were pretty amazed. I couldn't even count the number of high-end projects that were at various stages of development. Randy's team appeared to run like a well oiled machine, everyone understanding their roles and appearing pretty happy to be doing the work. To top it off, Randy is a really down to earth, no BS kind of guy, that's just really easy to like. He and his wife Peaches have been doing this their entire lives and have become a staple in the Hot Rod Industry. Randy and his team were presented with the "Riddler Award," the most prestigious award given to builders, at the 2001 Detroit Autorama for their creation - the "M-80".
To say the least...we were impressed with what we learned. However, we were suprised we didn't know much about it before this.
We decided to work with Randy for the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA where Randy and the team would be showcasing 3 of their recently finished projects.
Through the years their logo and branding had gone through multiple revisions as styles and trends changed. From logo development, to printed advertisements, T-shirt design, show car plaques, and tradeshow banner designs - we outfitted Hot Rods with a classic brand that echoed the philosophy of the company - quality first.
While the new look complimented the company, it still didn't tell the whole story. We decided to create a "Web-mercial" targeted for the YouTube audience to introduce Randy and the shop and tell the story of how Hot Rods and Custom Stuff came to be.
